ACTION ALERT TO ALL HOLDERS OF B BONDS ISSUED BY GREATER SOUTHWESTERN FUNDING CORPORATION. If you have your original Bond Certificate(s), keep the Certificate(s) in a safe place. Otherwise, preserve them in your brokerage account. As you may know, the law firm of Pinkerton & Finn has filed a class action lawsuit, Brady v. Greater Southwestern Funding Corporation and UBS Financial, Inc., Case Number: 10-CV-284-SPF-FHM in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma. The lawsuit seeks payment for the matured value and 15% post-maturity interest on all but a few B Bonds. All B Bonds have now matured. While success is by no means assured, if the lawsuit is successful, you may be required to produce your B Bond Certificate in order to receive compensation. In many cases, the B Bond Certificates are not held by a Bondholder but by a brokerage house or in a "street name" in a depository. If that is the case, you can protect your interest by not selling or trading the B Bonds for a nominal amount.
